Workplace Chaplaincy

When something hard hits your team, they need a person — not another ticket. Confidential pastoral care that works with HR and EAP, not instead of them.

What employers are looking for

Someone who will sit with hard things — and not replace HR or EAP.

Shared with permission — first-name quotes with written consent. Details may be generalized; facility and employer cards are never institutional endorsements.

People
Angela R. People & Culture Lead · Irving, TX

“Our EAP handles clinical referrals well. A workplace chaplain handles the human moment — the hallway conversation, the prayer someone quietly asks for, the leader who needs counsel before talking to the team.”

EMPLOYER CONTRACTS

Workplace Chaplaincy for DFW Employers

Workplace chaplaincy is a secondary lane of this ministry. Prison and families come first. When a company asks, I still show up when life gets heavy at work: grief, a hard diagnosis at home, a critical incident on the job, a team that’s carrying more than they say.

What you get

  • Confidential pastoral presence for employees (on-site, on-call, or virtual)
  • Critical-incident and grief response that complements HR and EAP, not replaces them
  • Leadership counsel for managers walking with someone in crisis
  • Clear scope: spiritual and pastoral care grounded in Scripture. Not clinical therapy.

How we start

Connect → Plan → Serve. One conversation to define schedule, sites, and level of care. Month-to-month or retainer.

Who this fits

Shops with real pressure: airlines, logistics, manufacturing, construction, corporate campuses, and teams that already know EAP isn’t enough when somebody dies or a crisis hits.

Questions employers ask

More in the guide, chaplain vs EAP, and cost.

What is workplace chaplaincy?

Workplace chaplaincy is confidential pastoral care for employees and leaders — grief support, crisis response, and spiritual presence that complements HR and EAP programs. It is pastoral care, not clinical therapy.

Does a chaplain replace our EAP or HR?

No. A chaplain complements your EAP and HR structure. EAPs handle clinical referrals and benefits pathways; chaplaincy fills the gap of human presence, grief companionship, and spiritual care — often the first conversation before someone is ready for formal counseling. Chaplain vs EAP →

Is workplace chaplaincy confidential?

Yes. Chaplain conversations are pastoral and private. They do not go into employee files and are not reported to HR or management.

How much does workplace chaplaincy cost?

Most engagements use a monthly retainer scoped to your workforce — employee count, on-site vs virtual delivery, on-call crisis coverage, and locations. Quotes come after a short discovery conversation; small businesses are welcome. Cost guide →
